Bently Nevada’s 3500/60 and 3500/61 Temperature Monitors are highly versatile modules designed for six-channel temperature monitoring applications. These modules accept both Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) and Thermocouple (TC) temperature inputs and compare them against user-programmable alarm setpoints. The 3500/60 and 3500/61 provide identical functionality, except that the 3500/61 provides recorder outputs for each of its six channels while the 3500/60 does not.

Bently Nevada 3500/60 & /61 Temperature Monitors - Reliable Temperature Monitoring Systems

One of the key advantages of the 3500/60 and 3500/61 Temperature Monitors is their ability to be programmed to perform either RTD or TC temperature measurements. This programming can be done using the 3500 Rack Configuration Software. Different I/O modules are available in RTD/TC non-isolated or TC isolated versions. The user can configure the RTD/TC non-isolated version to accept either TC or RTD or a mixture of TC and RTD inputs. The TC isolated version provides 250 Vdc of channel-to-channel isolation to protect against external interference.

When used in a Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) configuration, temperature monitors must be installed adjacent to each other in groups of three. This configuration allows the system to employ two types of voting to ensure accurate operation and avoid single-point failures. In addition, the 3500/60 and 3500/61 Temperature Monitors are equipped with diagnostics to monitor for wire breaks, sensor failures, and other potential issues.

One of the key features of the 3500/61 Temperature Monitor is its ability to provide recorder outputs for each of its six channels. This feature allows users to record temperature measurements over time, providing valuable data for analysis and troubleshooting. The recorder outputs can also be used to provide data to external systems such as data loggers, chart recorders, or SCADA systems.

The 3500/60 and 3500/61 Temperature Monitors are ideal for use in a wide range of industrial applications, including power generation, oil and gas, and manufacturing. They are particularly useful in applications where accurate temperature monitoring is critical to maintaining safe and efficient operations.

Overall, the Bently Nevada 3500/60 and 3500/61 Temperature Monitors offer a high degree of flexibility, accuracy, and reliability, making them a valuable addition to any industrial monitoring system. Their ability to accept both RTD and TC inputs, their configurable programming options, and their diagnostic capabilities all make them an excellent choice for any application where precise temperature monitoring is required.
