The Bently Nevada 140734-02 3500/42M monitors proximity and seismic transducers. It actively conditions input signals for vibration and position measurements. Additionally, users can program each channel for specific functions.

Channel Configuration:
- Channels are paired (1 & 2, 3 & 4) and perform one function each.
- Channels 1 and 2 can handle one function, while channels 3 and 4 manage another (or the same) function.
Primary Purpose:
- Machinery Protection: It actively compares monitored parameters with configured alarm setpoints, ensuring machinery protection.
- Essential Machine Information: It provides critical machine information for both operational and maintenance personnel.
Static Values and Setpoints:
- Each channel actively conditions its input signal to generate static values.
- Furthermore, users can configure alert setpoints for each active static value and danger setpoints for any two of the active static values.
