990 Vibration Transmitter

The 990 Vibration Transmitter is designed for OEMs of centrifugal air compressors, small pumps, motors, and fans. It provides a simple 4 to 20 mA proportional vibration signal for machinery control systems.

This two-wire, loop-powered device works with the 3300 NSv proximity probe and matching extension cables (5 m and 7 m system length options). The transmitter conditions the input signal into peak-to-peak vibration amplitude engineering units and outputs the result as a 4 to 20 mA signal. This allows for machinery protection, alarming, and logic within control systems.

• Integrated Proximitor Sensor
  No need for an external unit.
• Signal Output
  Non-isolated “PROX OUT” and “COM” terminals, plus a coaxial connector, provide a dynamic vibration and gap voltage signal for diagnostics.
• Adjustable Potentiometers
  Non-interacting zero and span potentiometers under the Transmitter label allow for easy loop adjustment.
• Test Input Pin
  Quickly verify loop signal output using a function generator.
• Not OK/Signal Defeat Circuit
  Prevents high outputs or false alarms caused by faulty probes or loose connections.
• Flexible Mounting Options
  Choose between DIN-rail clips or bulkhead mounting screws for easy installation.
