The 3500/40M Proximitor Monitor is a four-channel device that interfaces with Bently Nevada proximity transducers. It conditions signals for vibration and position measurements and compares them with user-configurable alarms. Through 3500 Rack Configuration Software, each channel can be programmed to perform various functions such as:
Radial vibration
Eccentricity
REBAM
Thrust position
Differential expansion
The primary function of the 3500/40M Proximitor Monitor is to provide continuous machinery protection by comparing monitored parameters against user-defined alarm setpoints. This allows for early detection of issues and ensures safe machine operation. Additionally, it offers valuable machine information for both operational and maintenance personnel.
Key Features
Machinery Protection: Continuously compares monitored parameters to alarm setpoints.
Versatile Measurements: Can measure radial vibration, eccentricity, thrust position, differential expansion, and REBAM.
Configurable Setpoints: Alerts and danger setpoints can be configured for each active static value.
Signal Conditioning: Conditions input signals to generate relevant machine parameters for monitoring.
