3500/32 4-Channel Relay Module

The 3500/32 4-Channel Relay Module is a full-height module that provides four relay outputs, offering flexibility for a variety of industrial applications. Any number of these modules can be installed into available slots to the right of the Rack Interface Module. Each relay can be independently programmed for specific voting logic needs, offering customizable control and monitoring.

Each output on the module includes integrated Alarm Drive Logic, which can be configured using AND and OR logic gates. This logic allows the module to respond to alarming inputs—such as alerts and danger signals—from any monitor channel or any combination of monitor channels within the rack. The 3500 Rack Configuration Software is used to program this logic, allowing for tailored alarm and relay behaviors specific to the application.

Outputs

• OK LED: Illuminates when the module is functioning properly.
• TX/RX LED: Flashes to indicate proper communication between this module and other modules in the rack.
• CH ALARM LED: Illuminated when the relay channel enters an alarm state.

• Type: Two single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) relays connected in a double-pole, double-throw (DPDT) configuration.
• Environmental Sealing: Epoxy-sealed for durability.
• Arc Suppressor: 250 Vrms installed as standard.
• Contact Life: 100,000 cycles at 5 A, 24 Vdc or 120 Vac.
• Operation: Each channel is switch-selectable for Normally De-energized or Normally Energized operation.
