The 3500/15 Power Supply is a half-height module. It must be installed in the designated slots on the left side of the rack. The 3500 rack can hold one or two power supplies, with any combination of AC and DC power. Either supply can power a full rack.
If two power supplies are installed, the lower slot supply acts as the primary, and the upper slot supply serves as the backup. Removing or inserting a power supply module does not disrupt rack operation if a second power supply is installed. The 3500/15 Power Supply accepts a wide range of input voltages and converts them to voltages suitable for other 3500 modules.
Available power supply options for the 3500 Series Machinery Protection System:
Legacy AC Power
Universal AC Power
High Voltage DC Power Supply
Low Voltage DC Power Supply
