3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System
The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System is designed for non-contacting vibration and displacement measurements, offering a longer linear range compared to the standard 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System. It is widely used for applications in fluid film bearing machines and critical measurements such as axial position, ramp differential expansion on steam turbines, rod position on reciprocating compressors, tachometer signals, and phase reference (Keyphasor) signals.

The system provides a 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil) output for accurate measurements.
Applications
This transducer system is used in the following applications:

System Upgrade
When upgrading from the 7200-series 11 mm and 14 mm Transducer Systems, all components must be replaced with the 3300 XL 11 mm versions, and the monitoring system must be updated. For 3500 Monitoring Systems, an updated configuration software is required. Existing 3300 Monitoring Systems may need modifications.

The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor offers:

Proximity Probe and Extension Cable
The 3300 XL 11 mm Probe is available with various case configurations and probe threads:
- Armored and unarmored options
- Thread sizes: ½-20, 5⁄8 -18, M14 X 1.5, M16 X 1.5, 3⁄8 -24, and M10 X 1 (reverse mount)
All components feature gold-plated brass ClickLoc connectors for secure connections, ensuring no loosening. The TipLoc molding method provides a robust bond between the probe tip and body. The CableLoc design ensures the probe cable is securely attached with a pull strength of 330 N (75 lb).
Optional Features
- FluidLoc Cable Option: Prevents oil and liquids from leaking out.
- Connector Protectors: Enhance environmental protection in humid or moist conditions, recommended for all installations.
Safety Features
The 3300 XL 11 mm Probe includes a locknut with pre-drilled safety wire holes to enhance safety during installation and operation.
